Portlights, Part 7: Compounding and Polishing the Gel-Coat














I used Presta Ultra Cutting Creme to bring the oxidized cabin top up to a glossy shine.

Before I did this compounding, I removed the old caulk residue with a chisel.


Bar Keeper's Friend (oxalic acid) and a Scotch-Brite pad did a good job on any stains I encountered prior to the compounding job.
The end result of all this cleaning and compounding.
