I have a Alberg Southcoast 23- and love it for day sailing. I agree with TED, I am loyal to the Carl Alberg design for classic boats. I lived the absolute of the displacement dictating a trailable sailboat. Our alberg is very easy to launch as long as you have 4 foot of water at the dock. Lived in a on a 33 foot Cape Dory for 31/2 years. Great article and good sailing.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00636816738936855126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9059975009563057537.post-12319072673464027382020-11-13T00:08:18.243-05:002020-11-13T00:08:18.243-05:00I am surprised that you left out all of the catboa...I am surprised that you left out all of the catboats.I amlooking at three, and will report back when I buy. But, that said, this info was very helpful, and helped me narrow my focus. When you are looking, it is easy to let the dream ster you toward those very attractive boats, many that you mention, that just won't really work out. Another criteria that you left out, was the absolute that displacement dictates your tow vehicle. Good sailing.TEDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17562085522553510396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9059975009563057537.post-51295563764225216432015-02-01T17:52:19.642-05:002015-02-01T17:52:19.642-05:00Thanks Deck Monkey.
